It is noted that fiction for various reasons loses its educational role among future teachers, and a certain potential of modern world literature virtually unfamiliar to students. has been proved foreign literature, which actualizes Ukrainian issues, can become an effective means educating spirituality, national-patriotic feelings historical memory in teachers. The interest authors Ukraine, past, raising important issues national identity, Ukrainians stimulus students get acquainted with these literary works read them deeply. object study may be the novel "Chornobyl Prayer: A Chronicle Future" by Nobel Prize-winning writer Svetlana Alexievich , as well Taisa Bondar (the "In Name Father Son"), Ivan Shamyakin "The Evil Star") American Irene Zabytko ("The Sky Unwashed"), representing diaspora Irish Darragh McKeon "All That Solid Melts into Air", work French illustrator Emmanuel Lepage "Springtime Chernobyl", journalism American-English scholar Serhii Plokhy ("Chernobyl: History Nuclear Catastrophe”) others.
